***Michael Jackson’s estate has generated $310 million in revenue from album sales, a film, merchandising and
other products since the “Thriller” singer died in 2009, according to court papers filed on Thursday.

His estate’s administrators have used $159 million to pay down the pop star’s debt, which when Jackson died amounted to more than $400 million, court records show.

LBN-COMMENTARY By RICHARD RUSHFIELD :

All of a sudden, it’s hard to be Lady Gaga. Since bursting onto the music scene in 2008, the artist born Stefani Germanotta has achieved that rare alchemy of massive commercial success combined with highbrow fascination (albeit grudging fascination.)

Standing almost alone amidst an imploding music industry, she has sold over

55 million albums in the past three years and racked up 340 million views on the avant-garde themed video for her song “Bad Romance.” Considerations of the meaning of Gaga littered the landscape, and her eclectic stew of references had many a university cultural studies department working overtime.

LBN-MUSIC INSIDER:

***Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way ” made music history on Wednesday by going straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart to become the 1,000th top song in the list’s 52-year history.

“It is a tremendous honor,” Gaga tells Billboard of the milestone. “To be the 1000th No. 1 on Billboard…I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honor of my career.”

ROSLAN AZIZ- Musical Director....

( The World's BEST Unknown ((at least not yet...))

But Then, of course, the other reason to go watch is producer, Boudeng Edruce....

Boudeng & Roslan, were and still are a POTENT, Lethal and Successful partnership...

In the late 80's & early 90's they were responsible for RAP ( Roslan Aziz Productions ) a local Record Label and Artist Management Firm that turned the whole Industry upside down and charted their own way by developing virtual unknowns like Sheila Majid, Zainal, Amir Yusof, Zubir Ali and many more into the household names that they are now...and of course, who could forget that Timeless IKHLAS Concert, held on Christmas Day, 25 December 1992.

RAP was the First Local Record Label bought over by Warner Music and the rest they say....is History....

*The cast of TV musical comedy “Glee” has beaten the record set by Elvis Presley for the most single entries on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, Billboard said on Wednesday.

With six new songs making their debut on the singles chart this week, the young cast of “Glee” has notched up 113 entries on the Hot 100 — less than two years after the show made its debut in 2009. Presley has 108 entries on the chart since it was started in 1958, Billboard said. The King’s hit-making career predates the launch of the Hot 100 by about two years.
